Houston · Strategy · Profitability · Operations
You built a business you're proud of. Prisma helps you see it clearly: where the money is made, where time is lost, and what to do next. It's the analytical discipline of a global consulting firm, delivered with the care of a trusted partner.
“We're busy, but I'm not sure which jobs actually make us money.”
“Our contracts, schedules and files live in five different places.”
“I know we need a plan for next year, but there's no time to step back.”
Prisma works with small and growing companies (contractors, family businesses and service firms) that have outgrown spreadsheets and gut feel but aren't ready for a full-time finance or operations hire.
Services
Focused engagements for owners who want rigorous answers without the overhead of a large firm.
Job and project profit analysis, pricing and margin reviews, cash flow visibility, and clear reports that show where you earn, where you leak, and what's driving the numbers.
Clear growth priorities, annual plans, budgets and forecasts you'll actually use, with simple budget-versus-actual tracking so you can measure progress, adjust early, and keep your team and lenders confident.
Contract review and management, tracking key terms, obligations and deadlines so commitments are met, plus the schedule updates and day-to-day paperwork that protect your margins and keep projects moving.
Shared folders, clean workflows, new or streamlined reports, checklists and simple controls that replace scattered texts and spreadsheets, save time, reduce errors, and give a growing company the backbone of a much larger one.
How we'll work together
A complimentary conversation about your business, what's working, and what keeps you up at night.

A defined project or ongoing advisory support, whichever fits where you are.
Every engagement gets senior-level attention from the first conversation to the final handoff, with plain language, responsiveness and genuine care for your business.
ABOUT LIZET
Lizet founded Prisma on a simple conviction: every growing company deserves the caliber of insight usually reserved for the largest ones.
She spent nearly two decades at FTI Consulting advising major U.S. and international organizations in energy, utilities and insurance on complex financial analysis and high-stakes contract issues, regulations and operations. Along the way, she found that her real gift is simplifying complexity: organizing the details, understanding who's listening, and turning it all into a strategy people can act on.
Her career began in accounting and process automation. Starting at a small medical practice, she set up an insurance appeals process that recovered more than $20,000 in lost revenue. At a major airline, she automated accounting processes long before it was fashionable, and at a small duty drawback company, she led a team that recovered $1.3 million for clients in a single year. Small business is primarily where she started, and it's where she has returned, bringing a practical, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to the companies that build our communities.
A Houstonian by choice for more than 30 years and a fluent Spanish speaker, Lizet serves as Co-Chair of 50/50 Women on Boards, Houston, a network of more than 2,000 professionals. Mentoring and inclusion have been at the heart of how she leads throughout her career.
She holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a BBA in Computer Information Systems, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston-Downtown. In 2025, Women We Admire named her one of The Top 50 Women Leaders of Texas, and in 2024 she was a finalist for FTI's global Culture Champion award.
“Turning complexity into clear strategy and meaningful impact.”
“She is excellent at client communication, and can hold a team together throughout the roughest times. She will always back you up and has no fear of going the extra mile.”
